Our Vision

At Marakhoff Kennels we believe that temperament, health, structure and movement are critical to a successful breeding program.  Our vision of the perfect borzoi will appear as poetry in motion with all balanced structure and lines flowing together exhibiting a power to perform that is unmistakable!  The perfect borzoi will take your breath away and leave you speechless as only art in motion can do.

BIS Can Am Aust CH Kishniga's Land Of Lakes

In 1987 he was bred to the lovely Australian CH Marakhoff Chaadysnay. 
This exciting outcross produced the successful “K” litter:

We could not be more grateful to Dr. Richard Meen and Dr. John Reeve Newson of Kishiniga Kennels for allowing this stunning boy to make the long trip from his home in Canada to Marakhoff Kennels.  The influence of his arrival left it's mark on the wonderful progeny he produced and those beyond for the past twenty years at Marakhoff. 

Lorenzo loved everyone he met and melted people with his dark bedroom eyes.  He was a joy to show and live with.  My sister Wendy is pictured here in a special moment admiring this handsome boy. He left his mark in the show ring, on his beautiful progeny and our hearts as well! 

We still see him in our borzoi of today and think of him often.
